Hey ya all!

Me, Christmas Eve, 1997

My name is Line Hansen, and I am 24 years old as this is being written.
I was born on March 23rd in 1975 in the town ofTrondheim, Norway.
When I was six years old, my family, which contains my two sisters Gry and Heidi, my parents and myself, moved to the neighbour county of Trondheim, Malvik.

In 1995, after living there for 13 years, it was about time to move out. I had met my boyfriend Frode Johansen two years earlier, and on the 3rd of July 1995 at 01.10 am our first child, Ida Marie, was born. Eleven days before due date... As Ida Marie was one month old, we moved far up north to Narvik, where Frode got his first job after finishing his education.

On August 15th, 1997 our son Jan Vidar was born at 02.28 am. The birth went so well, it was all done in three hours!
It was a little bit different to have two children to take care of, but it didn´t take long until I got used to it.
When we´d been living there for three years, Frode got a new job, far down south in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Now he is employed
at a bulk- and shippingcompany named Lorentzen & Stemoco.

We hadn´t been living there for long when we realized that another little guy had moved in to mommy´s stomach! Not quite planned, but a very welcomed little baby!
I only worked for two months during this pregnancy, the rest of the time I spent at home with the other kids, tried to relax as much as I could, and got some work done in our new apartment
instead of getting worn out working in a store!
I got through this pregnancy too without any problems at all, except that I had quite a bit acid at the end. But as they say; That is pretty normal if the child has a lot of hair!
And Linn Iren was born at Rikshospitalet in Oslo, believe it or not, on the same date as her big sister, the third of July! She came five days past her due date,
and she even came within the same hour as Ida Marie! Linn Iren was born at 01.23 am, and her big sister was very proud to get such a unique birthdaygift!

While living in Narvik, I joined a gospel choir named "Absolutt Music". We held lots of conserts, and even had cooperations with famous gospelartists like Calvin Bridges, Jesse Dixon and Elsa Harris. The last two mentioned we worked with at two occations! We also sung together with a couple of Norwegian artists, Sigvart Dagsland and Morten Arnesen. Before I moved down south, my choir recorded a CD, which hopefully is released these days. It took quite a few hours in the studio, but we had such a great time while working on it! And that was quite an experience to bring along...

Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music
won't last.

Do you run through each day On the fly?
When you ask "How are you?"
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done,
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music
won't last.

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
'Cause you never had time
To call and say "Hi"?
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music
won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift.... Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.
